Job Description
Scale Up Philippines is partnering with an FCA-regulated debt advisory firm based in the UK to hire a dedicated Administrative Assistant. Our client is a people-first financial services company that provides expert debt advice and peace of mind to individuals and businesses living with unmanageable debt. They specialise in implementing structured debt management plans, freezing interest and charges and making repayments affordable and sustainable.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a compliance-aware, client-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chase banks and financial institutions to confirm receipt of offers and payments on behalf of clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all correspondence and follow-ups
- Track outstanding confirmations and escalate unresolved cases in a timely manner
- Support the team with general administrative tasks related to debt management plan processing
- Ensure all communications and documentation align with FCA regulatory standards
- Assist with additional operational and administrative tasks as the business continues to grow
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or client support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with banks and financial institutions in a professional manner
- Highly organised with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage follow-up tasks without constant supervision
- Comfortable working in a regulated, compliance-driven environment
- Familiarity with debt management, financial services, or FCA-regulated environments is an advantage but not required
- Reliable, professional, and discreet when handling sensitive financial information
