Job Description
Scale Up Philippines is partnering with an internationally focused business development firm to hire a full-time, remote Social Media Associate. The company works across renewable energy investment, battery manufacturing partnerships, and physical commodity trading, connecting investors, manufacturers, distributors, and trading partners around the world.
You’ll support the company’s social media presence and help build its credibility with a global B2B audience. Working closely with the founder, you’ll create and publish content, engage with the online community, and help keep the brand active and professional across platforms. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in B2B and international marketing, with room to take on more responsibility as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Create professional graphics, carousels, and short-form videos using tools like Canva, CapCut, and AI platforms.
- Copywriting: Write clear, polished captions and posts that showcase the company’s expertise in renewable energy, battery distribution, and commodity trading.
- Content Scheduling: Schedule and publish posts consistently across platforms, with LinkedIn as a primary channel.
- Content Calendar Support: Help maintain the content calendar and ensure posts are delivered on time.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages professionally, and flag potential partnership or business inquiries for follow-up.
- Founder LinkedIn Support: Assist in maintaining the founder’s LinkedIn presence through post drafting, scheduling, and engagement.
- Industry Research: Gather news and trends in renewable energy, battery storage, and global commodity markets to use as content ideas.
- Reporting: Track basic social media metrics and prepare simple weekly or monthly performance reports.
- Campaign Support: Assist with digital marketing campaigns and other marketing initiatives as needed.
- Brand Consistency: Follow brand guidelines and keep all content professional, accurate, and free of confidential information.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in social media management or content creation, ideally for business, corporate, or B2B brands.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a business platform.
- Excellent written English, with strong attention to grammar and professional tone.
- Proficient in Canva and basic video editing tools such as CapCut or similar.
- Familiar with scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite) or willing to learn quickly.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
- Eager to learn about technical or industry-specific topics such as energy, batteries, or commodities.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Discreet and professional when handling confidential business information.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
