Job Description
Scale-Up Philippines is partnering with a growing fractional sales leadership company to hire an AI Engineer / AI Automation Specialist. The client helps businesses replace repetitive sales work with AI-enabled systems, and their own website, campaigns, and sales process run heavily on bots, automation, and conversational AI.
This is not a general VA role. You’ll be the technical owner of their AI and GoHighLevel environment. The person who can look at an existing setup, work out why it isn’t performing, and fix it. If you enjoy troubleshooting automation and building systems that actually convert, this role gives you real ownership from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, and maintain AI agents across the website, email campaigns, and landing pages.
- Monitor AI agent conversations, identify failure points, and improve prompts, logic, and handoffs.
- Manage the GoHighLevel environment: workflows, automations, pipelines, calendars, forms, and snapshots.
- Set up and optimize email and SMS campaign automation.
- Build and maintain landing pages and funnels that support lead capture and conversion.
- Manage integrations between GHL, the website, and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot lead qualification, appointment booking, and follow-up automation issues.
- Report on what’s working, what’s broken, and what should be improved next.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (required); workflows, automations, pipelines, and integrations, not just basic navigation.
- Practical experience building and troubleshooting AI agents or conversational bots.
- Experience with email/SMS campaign automation, landing pages, and funnels.
- Comfortable with prompting and AI agent configuration.
- Able to work independently: diagnose problems, propose solutions, and implement them without step-by-step instruction.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Bonus: sales automation, lead qualification, appointment booking, or CRM pipeline automation.
