Job Description
Scale Up Philippines is partnering with a growing global technology consulting firm to hire a Sr Implementation Consultant (Business Consultant). This is a high-impact, US time zone contracting role for a results-driven professional passionate about driving growth and creating measurable business outcomes in the HCM/HR technology space.
You’ll be responsible for delivering consulting services to customers and for defining, improving, and driving best practices across the client’s implementation practice. The role may also involve pre-sales engagements during presentation and/or scoping phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with customers to understand business objectives and HR processes across Core HR, Learning, Performance, Succession, Recruiting, Compensation, and Talent Management.
- Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional solutions and advise customers on HR transformation and process optimization.
- Facilitate business process, configuration, validation, and design workshops with customer stakeholders and project teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define implementation strategies, delivery plans, and risk mitigation approaches.
- Configure, validate, document, and test solutions, including SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
- Develop functional documentation, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Provide functional leadership throughout implementation, working closely with technical, integration, reporting, and customer teams.
- Deliver administrator training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support to drive user adoption and customer success.
- Support data migration validation, integrations, reporting, and continuous solution optimization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on best practices, product capabilities, and implementation methodologies.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and delivery excellence while mentoring junior consultants.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction, delivery quality, utilization, and project KPIs.
- Stay current with emerging HR technology, AI, and workforce transformation trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–12 years of HCM consulting experience, including 4+ years delivering medium to large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Functional expertise in one or more HCM domains, including Learning, Performance, Succession, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, or Core HR.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes, talent lifecycle, and global HCM best practices.
- Experience leading business discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), training, and post-go-live support.
- Excellent customer-facing consulting, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable functional solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead functional workstreams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project management, technical, integration, and customer stakeholders.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
- Experience with leading HCM platforms such as Cornerstone, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UKG is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering measurable business outcomes.
